JWS appoints Isaac Evans, further deepening the firm’s corporate advisory, M&A, ECM and PE expertise

Leading independent Australian law firm Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has appointed Isaac Evans as a Special Counsel in its Corporate team. Isaac is based in Brisbane and joins JWS from Baker McKenzie.

Isaac is a senior corporate advisory and transactional lawyer, with over 14 years’ experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, private equity and reconstructions. He has acted for a number of leading Queensland, national and international organisations across a diverse range of industries, including in the financial services, technology, renewables and clean energy, critical minerals, consumer goods and transport sectors.

Isaac also has a particular focus on corporate and board advisory work, including corporate governance, directors’ duties, securities law and regulatory compliance.
