Leading independent Australian law firm Johnson Winter Slattery has appointed Megan Coall as a Special Counsel in its Energy & Resources team. Megan will be based in the firm’s Sydney office and joins JWS from King & Wood Mallesons. Megan has a focus on M&A and other commercial transactions within the energy and resources sector. She has advised leading Australian and global producers, as well as financial sponsors focused on global energy transition investment, on domestic and cross-border transactions.
Megan has specialist knowledge of joint venture, infrastructure and commodity sales and royalty arrangements found in complex energy and resources sector projects. She has experience advising on transactions involving critical minerals, renewables and energy technology and storage.
