JWS bolsters industrial relations capabilities with Alexis Agostino and Charlotte Fenton

Leading independent Australian law firm, Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has appointed industrial relations (IR) specialist, Alexis Agostino as a partner in the firm’s IR/Employment team based in Melbourne and Perth.

Alexis provides strategic advice on IR issues, including enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes and general employment matters. She specialises in the mining, oil and gas and aviation sectors. Most recently, Alexis has worked with clients to prepare for the extensive legislative changes introduced by the ‘Secure Jobs, Better Pay’ and ‘Closing Loopholes’ reforms.

Alexis is an experienced litigator, representing clients in significant first instance and appellate proceedings in the Fair Work Commission and Federal Court of Australia.

Charlotte Fenton will also join our IR/Employment team as a Special Counsel in our Brisbane office. Her experience includes advising on IR issues and employment disputes, as well as protections claims, terminations and other general employment matters. Alexis and Charlotte join JWS from Corrs.
