Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has advised Potentia Capital on its A$1.35 billion exit from Micromine and sale to Weir Group Plc (LON: WEIR).
The exit was particularly significant to Potentia Capital as it represents the culmination of a strategic vision executed over the past seven years since its acquisition of a controlling stake in Micromine in 2018. JWS advised Potentia on the initial and bolt-on acquisitions of the global data mining software group, expanding its customer, geographic and product footprint and servicing major global mining companies, which has positioned Micromine for this successful exit.
JWS advised on all legal aspects of the process.
