Alexis is an industrial relations (IR) and employment lawyer, with a focus on IR strategy, enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes.

Alexis partners with clients to understand their commercial, legal and employee relations objectives to develop comprehensive IR strategies and resolve complex industrial disputes and employment matters.

Alexis’ secondments in the mining, oil and gas, aviation and banking and finance industries, as well as her involvement with industry associations, have uniquely positioned her to deliver practical and commercial legal outcomes that are aligned to these objectives.

Most recently, Alexis has collaborated with clients across various industries to prepare for and respond to legislative changes introduced by the ‘Secure Jobs, Better Pay’, and ‘Closing Loopholes’ reforms.

Alexis is an experienced litigator, having represented clients in significant first instance and appellate proceedings in the Fair Work Commission and Federal Court of Australia.

Alexis has experience across a range of industries, with a particular focus on mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, aviation, stevedoring, retail, and banking and finance sectors.
