Under the transaction Beach will acquire an extensive exploration and production portfolio and become the sole operator in the Western Flank of the Cooper Basin. The transaction is expected to complete early in the new year.

Peter Rose said the firm was delighted to have supported Beach Energy on this important acquisition.

“Beach has a long history of operating in the Cooper Basin and this acquisition will consolidate its position as one of the leading oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the basin. The transaction will provide Beach with the opportunity to capitalise on synergies in field operations, delivering opportunities to unlock further value for shareholders.”
