Advising GFG Alliance on A$650 million funding deal

Johnson Winter & Slattery (JWS) is advising GFG Alliance on the addition of A$650 million in credit lines for working capital management and planned growth opportunities.

Announced today, GFG Alliance has formed a new association with U.S. financier White Oak Global Advisors, LLC (“White Oak”) and has expanded its existing relationship with Greensill Capital UK Limited (“Greensill”). 

The financing arrangements, which are expected to close later this month, are:

  1. A Secured Term Syndicated Borrowing Base Facility Agreement with White Oak; and
  2. A Secured Revolving Credit Facility and Supply Chain Financing facility with Greensill.

As lead legal adviser to GFG Alliance on debt financing since GFG entered the Australian market, JWS partner, Jim Hunwick said, “We are delighted to be GFG Alliance’s legal advisers on such significant financing deals, and to be involved in GFG’s impressive growth trajectory in Australia.”
