JWS pro bono gap year

Our pro bono gap year offers you a ‘year out’ to work exclusively on matters that will have a positive impact on the community, all while giving you the certainty of a commercial role at the end of your year.

As a pro bono graduate you will have the opportunity to:

• work exclusively with our pro bono clients – grass roots legal centres, national strategic litigation and policy organisations and national charities. We will pick the partners which suit your interests best
• be seconded to work onsite with clients
• design a schedule that fits your life and your plans for the year – we can accommodate extended travel around secondments placements and will work with you to design your 12 months
• transition into our clerkship program at the end of your role and be considered for a graduate position
