Tom is an experienced energy and resources lawyer specialising in acquisitions, structuring, development, governance and offtakes for energy, resources and associated infrastructure assets.
Tom has a broad range of experience working across mining, oil & gas, electricity and renewables (including solar, wind, pumped hydro, batteries, compressed air, liquid air and hydrogen) projects.
Tom’s experience covers acquisitions, farm-ins, joint ventures, infrastructure and asset use and sharing arrangements (including for natural gas, power, water, port and rail), project development and services agreements, concession contracts, production sharing contracts, power purchase and capacity reservation agreements and commodity sales and transportation contracts.
His commercial approach is highly regarded and he maintains a keen interest in understanding the commercial drivers of clients so that he can advise them on the ever evolving and changing business and energy environment that they are confronting.

The development and financing of a solar and renewable hydrogen production facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia that will supply the hydrogen produced to an existing ammonia production facility owned by Yara International ASA.
BE Power
The development of the "Big-T" 400MW Pumped Hydro project situated beside Lake Cressbrook approximately 50km from Toowoomba and subsequent proposed sale to Stanwell.
Senex Energy
Numerous gas sales arrangements and projects including the ARC pipeline, the expansions of the Atlas and Roma North fields, and its joint venture with CS Energy to develop the Kogan Renewable Hydrogen Demonstration Plant near Chinchilla.
Highview Power
Development of several renewable energy power stations in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland. The projects blend solar power and Li-ion storage in order to provide a base load supply of renewable energy and grid stability services on a 24/7 basis.
