Leading independent law firm Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has advised the shareholders of professional services firm Fyfe on the acquisition by Mercury Capital of a majority stake in the Fyfe group. Fyfe shareholders have retained a significant interest in the Fyfe business.
Fyfe is an Australian integrated engineering, environment, planning and survey firm in the defence, energy, resources, property and infrastructure sectors. Founded in 1982, it has 16 offices across Australia and employs over 470 people.
The details of the transaction were published in The Australian Financial Review’s Street Talk yesterday (9 April 2024).
The JWS team was led by Corporate / Private Equity Partners Jonathan Cheyne and Andrew Turner, with the team also including Associates Nathan Shapiro and Trent Candy.
