Wingstop, the iconic US-based fast-casual restaurant chain known for its bold flavours and craveable chicken wings, has landed in Australia with its first flagship store opening in Sydney’s vibrant Kings Cross precinct.
The JWS team was led by Partners Damian Reichel and Andrew Turner, supported by Senior Associate Paris Goode and Associate Ben Wilson, while Partner Matthew Shanahan provided tax advice.

Celebrating the launch in Kings Cross
Members of the JWS deal team joined JPK Capital and Wingstop Australia executives at a private launch event held last Wednesday night at the flagship Wingstop restaurant in Kings Cross. The event featured a first look at the restaurant’s signature menu and vibrant fit-out, live entertainment, and remarks from key stakeholders celebrating the brand’s arrival in Australia.
“It was fantastic to see the vision come to life and to celebrate this milestone with the JPK and Wingstop teams,” said Andrew Turner.
The Kings Cross store marks the first of a number of planned openings across Australia.
