Our team supports the energy sector with the transition to net zero. With a long and rich history in energy, we are at the forefront with clients – navigating the energy transition and the move towards renewables.

We are pioneers in the sector, having advised the State of South Australia on its Tesla battery project – the world's first large-scale grid-connected battery.

Our clients benefit from our experience across the full spectrum of renewable and clean energy projects, including solar, wind, traditional and pumped hydro, battery storage and other hybrid technologies. JWS advises electricity generators, transmission and distribution network owners, large energy users and renewable project developers, as well as traders, investors, financiers and industry bodies.

Regularly assisting clients within the energy and resources sector as well as other industries, we focus on energy procurement and decarbonisation strategies, including to reduce, offset and mitigate emissions; and interaction with broader ESG objectives.
