Over more than 20 years, Chris has acted for corporations, individuals, company directors, insolvency practitioners, regulated entities and regulators in various disputes and Court proceedings around Australia.  

He has extensive experience in general commercial and contractual disputes, class actions (acting for plaintiffs and defendants), Corporations Act matters, schemes of arrangement, insolvency matters and recovery actions, regulatory investigations and prosecutions, administrative matters before court and tribunals, and appeals.

Chris also has considerable experience in regulatory matters, acting for both regulated utilities and regulators. He has acted for gas and electricity transmission and distribution businesses and ports providing advice on regulatory issues and in the preparation of their regulatory pricing proposals. He has acted for businesses and decision makers in merits review and judicial review applications.
