Anthony is a commercial lawyer with 20 years’ experience in the energy and resources and infrastructure sector, specialising in contract negotiation and advice, economic regulation and regulatory advice.
Anthony's energy experience includes the drafting and negotiation of electricity and gas connection agreements, agreements for the construction, operation and maintenance of energy infrastructure, including pipelines, gas turbines and cogeneration stations, gas sales and haulage agreements and electricity retail and power purchase agreements. He also advises on the application of the National Electricity Rules, the preparation of access arrangement submissions to the AER under the National Gas Law, the application of the National Gas Rules and Law, and on price reviews under long term gas supply agreements.
His mining experience includes negotiation of joint venture arrangements, advice on the application of royalty regimes and other aspects of mining acts, advice on State Agreements, drafting of sales contracts and preparation of mining legislation for the State of Papua New Guinea.
Anthony has experience in contract drafting and negotiation for the defence, health, education and water industries.
