With over 27 years’ experience working in Australia and Japan, Richard is a leading corporate lawyer specialising in M&A, funds management and joint ventures / co-investments.
Richard works extensively with domestic and international managers of investment capital to establish investment vehicles and execute strategic transactions. Richard is known for his ability to find simple solutions to complex problems. Over his career Richard has advised on transactions in a wide range of industries, but he has tended to specialise on transactions concerning real assets (real estate and infrastructure, and the technology and service industries associated with them, including telecommunications, data technology and infrastructure, hospitals, aged care, retirement living, land lease communities, hotels, waste management, regenerative agriculture, renewables, non-bank lending and asset management).
