Acted for the directors of 2 subsidiaries of New Hope to defend complex insolvency and breach of duty claims brought against them, and other former officers by the liquidators of those subsidiaries seeking damages of circa $175m.

Acting for a mining services contractor seeking substantial amounts owing from a Qld mine owner under a now terminated mining services contract.
NAB
Co-lead the team assisting throughout rounds 5 and 7 of the Royal Commission into Financial Services, supervising a team of up to 80 lawyers and paralegals charged with responding to over 50 notices to produce issued to NAB by the Commission.
I-MED Group
Advised the Senior Banking Syndicate on the restructuring of the I-MED Group, Australia’s largest, privately owned diagnostic imaging network. The transaction was one of the most significant restructuring transactions in the Australian market after the GFC and was recognised as a ‘model debt-for-equity swap deal for a few private equity situations ahead’.
