Her work covers transactional, regulatory and incident response, and she is a trusted adviser to clients across highly-regulated and technology-driven sectors including healthcare, financial services, digital platforms, transport, energy & resources, education and telecommunications.

Helen has a focus on data privacy and compliance, cyber risk preparedness, management and incident response, having guided clients through business-wide privacy and data governance reviews, and advised on a number of large-scale, cross-jurisdictional data breaches and cyber incidents. She regularly assists clients with regulatory enforcement action and investigations, including by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).

Helen also advises on digital transformations, the procurement of large-scale ICT systems and technology outsourcings, data commercialisation, telecommunications projects, complex commercial transactions and technology M&A, including separation and transitional arrangements. 

Her intellectual property expertise includes advising on IP strategy and protection, licensing and commercialisation, and technology-driven transactions including IP diligence and advice on M&A transactions, and new product launches.
