Leading independent law firm Johnson Winter Slattery has advised Battery Ventures on its acquisition of Mobius Institute and Mobius Institute Board of Certification, a worldwide provider of reliability-improvement, condition-monitoring and predictive-maintenance training and certification, based in Victoria.
This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity for Battery to leverage Mobius’ global reputation to create an asset-reliability and industrial-services player and expand its presence in the industrial technologies space globally.
The transaction was led by JWS corporate Partner Simon Haddy, with a core deal team including Special Counsel Isabella Bosworth, Senior Associate Rebecca Proudman and Associate Thulasie Venkat.
Simon Haddy commented, “We are thrilled to have advised Battery Ventures on this acquisition of Mobius Institute. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of Mobius in the industrial-technologies space under Battery’s direction.”
JWS worked with Cooley LLP on the US aspects of the deal.
