JWS strengthens environment, planning and ESG expertise with appointment of Julia Green

Leading independent Australian law firm Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has appointed Julia Green as a Special Counsel in its Environment & Planning team. Julia will be based in the firm’s Sydney office and joins JWS from Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

A specialist environment and planning lawyer with over 18 years’ experience, Julia represents clients in the real estate, energy and resources, infrastructure and agricultural sectors. 

Julia has worked on some of the largest and most complex developments in NSW for high-calibre clients and regularly acts on a broad range of major projects in a litigious, advisory and transactional capacity. 

She also has experience in supporting clients in the transition to a low carbon economy and advises on best practice and opportunities in the climate change, sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) space.
