Our seasonal clerkship program is the best way to see what a future with us would look like.
As a clerk, you will have the opportunity to:
• work with leading lawyers across our national network on complex legal issues
• gain experience across a range of practice areas

Sydney
We offer an eight-week summer clerkship program with a two-week break over the New Year period. The clerkship runs from November to mid-February.
Melbourne
We offer a four-week seasonal clerkship program with four different intakes throughout the year – two in summer, one in autumn and one in winter.
Adelaide
We offer a four-week seasonal clerkship program with four different intakes throughout the year – two in summer, one in autumn and one in winter.
Canberra
We offer an eight-week summer clerkship program with a two-week break over the over the New Year period. The clerkship runs from November to mid-February.
Perth
We offer a three-week seasonal clerkship program with four different intakes throughout the year – two in summer, one in autumn and one in winter.
Brisbane
We offer a four-week seasonal clerkship program with four different intakes throughout the year – two in summer, one in autumn and one in winter.

Get a head start in your career with our graduate program.

Pro bono gap year
Our pro bono gap year offers you a ‘year out’ to work exclusively on matters that will have a positive impact on the community, all while giving you the certainty of a commercial role at the end of your year.
As a pro bono graduate you will have the opportunity to
- work exclusively with our pro bono clients – grass roots legal centres, national strategic litigation and policy organisations and national charities. We will pick the partners which suit your interests best
- be seconded to work onsite with clients
- design a schedule that fits your life and your plans for the year – we can accommodate extended travel around secondments placements and will work with you to design your 12 months
- transition into our clerkship program at the end of your role and be considered for a graduate position.
