Charlie is a banking and finance lawyer with more than 20 years' domestic and international experience in project finance, acquisition finance, and corporate finance, particularly in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.
He acts for borrowers and sponsors, as well as financiers (including banks, funds and export credit agencies), on the full spectrum of financing transactions.
Charlie has advised on the financing of numerous projects and acquisitions across a range of asset classes, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), gas, resources, transport, social infrastructure and digital infrastructure.
He has extensive experience in finance transactions in the context of competitive bid processes for infrastructure assets and projects, including privatisations and PPPs. He also has particular expertise in multi-sourced financing transactions involving export credit and other governmental funding agencies.
Charlie is recognised in Asia Pacific Legal 500 and International Financial Law Review’s IFLR1000, particularly for his infrastructure financing expertise.
