Carrie is a partner and has been in practice for over 30 years in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Carrie is also on the management board of JWS.
Carrie’s background is as a commercial real estate lawyer but she specialised approximately 20 years ago in natural resources, in particular, plantation forestry, agriculture and agribusiness and water.
Carrie advises on the legal aspects of investment, operations, supply and management in the agribusiness sector across Australia (including ownership and management of water entitlements) and the plantation forestry sector. The majority of Carrie’s clients are overseas based inward investors into these sectors in Australia as part of global investment strategies in these sectors. Carrie’s clients include investment and asset managers, private equity investors, pension and endowment funds, overseas and domestic corporate and Government.
