Jia is a dispute resolution lawyer with experience in complex commercial litigation, class actions, investigations and commissions of inquiry. 

She has also developed particular expertise in technology disputes through a secondment with an Australian telecommunications company. Jia also brings litigation expertise in the Pacific region, having acted in disputes based in Tonga and Vanuatu.

She has acted for clients across a range of industries, including airlines, infrastructure and utilities, foreign corporations and government agencies.

In addition to her Australian qualifications, Jia holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was named to the Dean’s List. 

Jia has been recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch each year since 2023.
