Felicity is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer with extensive experience in large-scale general commercial litigation with a developing focus in major class actions.

Felicity also acts in complex and sensitive employment, insolvency and taxation disputes. She has extensive experience in matters involving directors’ duties, continuous disclosure and regulatory issues.

Felicity was recently named as a Lawyerly Litigation Rising Star, was finalist for Senior Associate of the Year at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2021, was a finalist the in the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards 2020 (Dispute Resolution Category) and received an Excellence Award in the Australasian Law Awards (Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year).

Engaged by the former Acting Treasurer of Arrium Australia Limited (Administrators Appointed) in defending a $185M dispute brought by a banking syndicate concerning solvency representations made prior to the company’s $2b collapse in the Supreme Court of NSW, as well as in public examinations by the administrators.

Qantas Airways

On a number of longstanding proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia and State Supreme Courts.

AFCA Disputes

Representation of a number of financial firms in respect of disputes lodged with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.

Class actions

Swann Insurance (Aust) Pty Ltd

Federal Court Class Action proceedings against Swann Insurance (Aust) Pty Ltd and Insurance Australia Limited relating to the sale of add-on insurance sold in motor vehicle dealerships across Australia.

RCR Tomlinson Ltd

Acting for the Former Director/Interim CEO in relation to the $200M plus collapse of RCR Tomlinson in 2018 and various claims/enquiries including class actions and ASIC investigations and liquidator investigations.

Allianz Class Action

Acting against Allianz Australia Insurance Ltd and Allianz Australia Life Insurance Ltd in the Supreme Court of Victoria. The claim concerns the sale of add-on insurance sold add-on insurance sold in motor vehicle dealerships across Australia. It was the first proceeding in Australia to apply for a group costs order for the firm to be paid a contingency fee on any settlement or judgment.
