Natixis acquires majority stake in Investors Mutual

JWS advises Natixis on its acquisition of a majority stake in Investors Mutual Limited.

Johnson Winter & Slattery advised Natixis Global Asset Management (Natixis), part of Group BPCE (the second largest banking group in France), on its acquisition of 51.9% of the share capital of Investors Mutual Limited (IML), which has an enterprise value of approximately A$300 million.

Natixis has acquired all of the shares in IML held by Pacific Current Group Limited (ASX: PAC) as well as a portion of the shares held by IML founder and Investment Director, Anton Tagliaferro.

JWS advised Natixis on all aspects of the transaction.

The transaction is the first major Australian acquisition for the Paris-based global fund manager and marks its further expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.
