Jarrod Wilksch Special Counsel

Jarrod is a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in securities law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory.

Jarrod has experience in a wide range of corporate dealings including capital raisings, both public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, members’ meetings and general corporate advisory as well as advising on ASIC and ASX Listing Rule requirements.

He has also advised clients in the energy & resources sector on the acquisition, disposal and funding of projects and assets across numerous states.

Jarrod also has broad commercial experience including drafting and advising on a range of commercial agreements for businesses across a diverse range of industries.


Mergers, acquisitions and restructures


Acting in relation to the sale of the Millennium coal mine, a metallurgical coal mine located near Moranbah, Queensland; the Broadmeadow East Project, an undeveloped coking coal project located near Moranbah, Queensland; and the Wilkie Creek coal mine, a surface coal mine located in the Surat Basin of Southeast Queensland.

Mighty Craft

Acting in connection with its acquisition of the ‘Adelaide Hills Group’ of beer, distilling and cider businesses.

MOJO Kombucha

Advised the founders and owners of MOJO Kombucha on their sale to the Coca-Cola Company.

Scott Group of Companies

Numerous corporate transactions including merger of the Scott’s Transport Industries business with K&S Corporation; and disposal of its Northern Territory Freight Services business.

Capital markets

Cooper Energy

Acting in connection with its acquisition of the Orbost Gas Processing Plant from APA Group and associated $244 million fully underwritten placement and accelerated entitlement offer.


Advised on its fully underwritten institutional $92 million placement and $49 million share purchase plan.

Perenti Global (formerly Ausdrill)

Acting in relation to its $250 million underwritten accelerated entitlement offer in connection with its acquisition of Barminco.
