Johnson Winter & Slattery has enhanced its corporate and infrastructure offerings with the appointment of Nicholas Grambas, who has joined the firm as a partner in its Melbourne office.
Nicholas is an internationally recognised lawyer and the former global leader of Sidley Austin LLP’s project finance and infrastructure group. Prior to joining Johnson Winter & Slattery, Nicholas was based in Singapore and New York for a number of years. Nicholas brings extensive experience in M&A, projects and finance. He has a deep understanding of commercial and legal structuring of transactions across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, utilities, power and renewables, water and wastewater, district energy, mining and resources.
With more than 25 years of experience in Asia, Australia, Europe, United States and the Middle East, Nicholas is a versatile lawyer representing strategic and financial sponsors, lenders and arrangers on complex equity and debt transactions for greenfield and brownfield assets. He advises on acquisitions, auctions, divestments, privatisations, joint ventures, PPPs/Greenfield/concession projects, acquisition and project finance.
