Battery Ventures makes significant investment in domestic talent management software

Johnson Winter & Slattery advised Battery Ventures on the Australian aspects of its investment in PageUp People Ltd (PageUp).

Cooley LLP acted as U.S. legal advisor to Battery Ventures. Battery Ventures is a global technology-focused investment firm which makes venture capital and private equity investments.

PageUp plans to continue the global expansion PageUp has seen in recent years. PageUp is a leading provider of talent management software, including products for recruitment, employee on-boarding, performance management, learning and career development and succession management. Founded in Australia in 1997, PageUp now has an international footprint in markets including in the United States, Asia and Europe. Karen Cariss will continue as the CEO of PageUp and Accel-KKR will no longer be investors in the company.
