Johnson Winter & Slattery has internally promoted seven senior practitioners with the appointment of two Partners, four Special Counsel, and one Senior Associate.

Clare Brown, Partner, Sydney: Clare specialises in corporate and securities law, with a particular focus on equity capital markets and venture capital. She is experienced in cross-border and domestic corporate transactions including advising on equity and hybrid security fundraisings, venture capital transactions, regulated and private M&A, business sales and acquisitions, securities regulatory issues, ESOPs and other general corporate matters. She regularly acts for companies and investors in the healthcare and life sciences/biotechnology sector, as well as the technology industry more broadly.
Ravi de Fonseka, Partner, Sydney Ravi specialises in telecommunications and technology and is also experienced in intellectual property and broader commercial matters. Ravi has advised clients on major information technology projects such as technology joint ventures, system integrations, outsourcings and procurement of hardware, software and services, including preparation of procurement strategies and tender processes.
Pravin Aathreya, Special Counsel, Melbourne: Pravin practises as a commercial litigator with experience in product liability disputes, large-scale government and insolvency litigation, and energy and resources disputes.
Kathryn Bertram, Special Counsel, Melbourne: Kathryn specialises in state taxes (stamp duty, land tax) and tax audits and litigation (income tax, stamp duty, payroll tax and land tax). Kathryn has played pivotal project management roles in the management of a large tax litigation matters.
Rosemary Tedesco, Special Counsel, Sydney: Rosemary is experienced in real estate transactions and projects dealing with various property aspects across a number of States, including sales and acquisitions and leasing and advice matters. Rosemary has acted for clients on commercial, industrial, retail and rural real estate transactions as well as undertaking due diligence to identify real estate risks in the context of corporate transactions.
Andrew Wilton, Special Counsel, Adelaide: Andrew has a broad commercial capability for the most part focussed on the development of infrastructure principally in the energy and resources sector, including in relation to gas fired power stations, cogeneration plants, renewable energy projects and gas and water pipelines.
