Obtained an order from the Court extending the convening period in relation to that company, and obtained a release from liability for the Administrators in relation to the repayment of funding obtained to operate the port.
Acted for Centuria in proceedings brought against the directors of its former corporate tenant for non-payment of rent and outgoings. Settlement was achieved at mediation for a substantial amount of the sum initially sought.
Advised the Law Society of Queensland in relation to a fidelity fund claim made by the liquidators of Equititrust arising from allegedly unauthorised transactions involving a solicitor’s trust account.
